More Information: Adding 10-20% of Zinc White to the linseed oil paint creates a slightly harder surface, which is less susceptible to dirt build up. It also makes the linseed oil paint flow nicely in addition to decreasing the paint dry time. Always test the linseed oil products before embarking on a project. Never add any chemicals to the linseed oil paint as it may NOT be compatible with organic linseed oil. Always apply thin coats of organic linseed oil paint since it is 100% dry weight and nothing evaporates as it is applied.
