Ottosson's Matte Interior Primer and Matte Interior Linseed Oil Paint offer a basic oil-based formulation with few ingredients.
It is easy to apply to large surfaces and faster to dry than the standard semi-gloss Ottosson Linseed Oil Paint options available.

Ottosson's Matte Interior Primer
is well-suited for absorbent surfaces, such as new drywall, pH neutral plaster, unpainted wood.

It is an excellent initial coating for a surface soon to be painted with Ottosson Matte Interior Paint.
​
It is NOT recommended to use Ottosson Matte Interior Primer when applying the Ottosson Interior Paint over an old coating, especially over a modern acrylic or latex paint.

Ottosson's Matte Interior Paint
is specifically formulated for interior applications, such as drywall and plaster.
Generally, 1-2 relatively thin, even coats will cover completely. For a previously painted surface, no primer is required.
Matte Interior Paint is available in two natural white colors and can be custom tinted with the standard Ottosson Linseed Oil Paint colors at home based on personal preference.
